So happy to have you pop in!
Teaching positive character traits is crucial. I know that these skills are easily infused into our daily classroom activities, but from time to time, I like to make sure that my students are provided with an opportunity to reflect on their own personal traits. This way, they are able to reflect on and determine in what areas they are excelling in and in what areas they still need to improve on.
Depending on the theme or season, I just copy these Build and Reflect on Character worksheets and add them to our centres.
With the arrival of warm weather, comes the arrival of the T-shirt season. So, I was inspired to create a Reflection sheet with T-shirts. Click here for your copy.
Students color in the T-shirts as they reflect on each character trait. Upon completion, students are then able to see as to which traits they still need to focus on. They are also able to see as to which traits they are excelling in.
Here is a completed reflection sheet.
note: Each students' reflection sheet will vary.
I'd love to hear as to how you incorporate character traits in your classroom.
I nominated you for Liebster Award.... Once Again! :)
